The first hole is a great risk/reward par 5.  Get your tee shot past the grass bunker and go for the green in two. Shorter drives face a blind lay up shot to a generous landing area. Short third shots into a very deep green makes this a good opportunity to get off to a fast start. Keep your ball under the hole or you will face a speedy downhill putt.
